Kris studied at the University of West Florida, majoring in Digital Storytelling & Journalism, with a minor in Graphic Design (Spring 2026).

In her senior year she interned as the Social Media and Communication Assistant at the UWF Center for Fine and Performing Arts (2025 - 2026), was the Vice President & Event Coordinator of the UWF American Advertising Association chapter, ClubAD (2026), and an Editor for the student-lead newspaper, The Voyager (2026).
